I've been on this site for a good amount of months and finally am making a post as it's time to start making some changes to my life and therefore my baby (read: truck) Pretty sure it's become an addiction and my therapy will cost as much as the improvements I've discovered I now have to make due to the creative genius's and overall good ideas/advice.

I want to lift my truck, 2007 Double Cab TRD Sport Pre-runner 2WD (<-is that obvious because it's Pre-runner?) + K&N 63 Series Air Charger Intake Kit but can't get crazy with the long travel yet as it's my daily driver and I drive A LOT. Any suggestions would be cool but I won't lift just the body and plan on getting a GREAT set up the first time around. Only going to go 3" as mom is handicapped and I don't want to have to lift her much higher than that. It's almost to short now and hurts my back so it's a medical thing *wink*. Would coil-overs be the best choice? Are spindles necessary? Doing A LOT of road driving, A/T or do any rims (not 20's people, I'm not that guy) around 18.5" or less fit a good looking low profile tire so I could run off-road rims & tires then swap for street rims & tires?

I know this isn't the right place to post this but considering it's my "personal introduction thread" I figured I could do whatever the hell I pleased as long as I didn't piss anyone off... too much.

    Things I could totally use:

Creative use for the "stash box" location to the left of the steering wheel - I broke mine getting out of the car one night and kicked it under a slimy dumpster. Felt that it was a sign to smoke less weed and never got around to replacing it.

Advice on putting in a LED to the front cup holders + someone to help me do it - I live in So-Cal, Irvine to be exact, and like good tasting beer.

Speaking of So-Cal - Any good trails for my truck? Would love to get her out for a day trip one day.

I'm also looking to put in the LED light bars in the bed. Found a kit that looked cool because of the remote option which would allow me to use my truck bed tent but it turns on all 4 lights. If someone could help me wire two up in the bed and one under the back bumper (actually I may be able to) that would use the remote and one that I could install a switch onto that would be under the front bumper to be used as an obstacle light, that would be great.

I really want to do the WHLM but don't trust myself and live in an apartment complex that would NOT be happy.

This is going to cost me a lot of beer....

In conclusion, this site is the greatest thing since sliced bread fermented and man imbibed. Thanks to everyone for the awesomeness.

You may want to look into lifting with Bilsteins 5100's and an AAL. It will only lift your truck 2.5" but it looks the same. This also may help a little to help your mom get in. There are a ton of members in SoCal, I'm sure some will help you  Oh, and WELCOME!
