KO2 defects?

So... Ran through my first set of k02s.. Unfortunately in 8k miles and i,know theses are severely worn and shouldn't be driving on them but.. These are hard to see but these darker black spots in my tires seem to be air gaps that lead all the way to my steel radial, is this why my 2 tires wore so,much faster then the other 2?

 

They wore that much in 8k miles?

That can't be right. Do you just constantly do burnouts at every light? Have you done suspension work?

I was thinking of pulling the trigger on some next month. Yeesh.

Man that's a lot of wear. I just sold a set with 10,000 miles on them and they still have 80% of their tread depth.

Keep us updated on what the cause might be. That's scary fast for wear like that.

 

Yea guys, 8k miles, and these are the front! Had my tires aligned, no major suspension work. It just doesn't add up, I love them great traction just confused

 

I've always gotten 40,000-50,000 miles on KOs. I've had KO2s for almost a year now. I've never seen one of those tires wear that fast and between my family and me, we have had them on a total of 7 trucks/suvs.
Something is wrong.
What do the rears look like?
How often did you rotate and balance?

Looks like they were ran over inflated. What air pressure were you running?

 

I was at 28 -30 psi most of the time

 

Not even a worry.... I'm 2wd

Front and rear. And rotated and balanced like crazy to try to keep them from wearing

 

That is definitely not over inflated.

 

If its the fronts, my money is on alignment

 

I have had it aligned 2 times.. And scrub radius.... What could effect that

 

Have to agree. Something is not right. I sold a set with 8K miles and they seriously looked new. I rotate every 3K.

 

Yea I do.... Just have to find them, they were not very off at all. Actually only charged me half...

 

Should I contact BFG and see of I can get answers? Not looking for anything more then answers
