    How are you guys wiring your lightbars? All my Hanma came with was about 12" of wire off the bar and that's it

    Gotta add wire yourself. However long you need to go to reach the battery and ground location.

    I'm assuming two wires?

    If so, Splice into and extend the wires. One is positive, one negative.

    Using a 2 fuses, a relay and a switch, wire a fused supply to the switch, with an output to the 86 pin on the relay. Wire the 85 pin on the relay to ground.
    Use the second fuse, that can handle the amp draw of the lights, to the 30 pin on the relay. Wire relay pin 87 to the positive on the light. Ground the negative wire from the light.

    Make sure you use wiring that is capable of handling the load. This will be determined by the amp draw of the light.

    The lightbar draws 15A's. Do they sell the relay anywhere like AutoZone or do I have to build one myself.

    Wiring isn't my strong suit

    If you're wiring less than 10 feet, 12 gauge wire is fine, 11-18 feet, use 10 gauge.

    The relay can be found at most auto parts stores, autozone will have them. You want a bosch-type, spst 4 pin relay. A 5 pin will work, but make sure you use the 87 pin, not 87a, as 87a is always connected.

    Ok, I have some friends who are good at wiring, just wanted to be sure I had the correct parts before giving it a go. Thanks for the help

    Chris , I saw on your webpage that the 20" bar is 7200 lumens at 6000k is there an option that lets you order closer to 4300k .... With the higher kelvin you lose some of the brightness ... Just curious as i am definitely in to buy a bar from you in the future just dont want it so blueish... Let me know

    Lots.
    Not really. The temperature of the bulbs doesn't have much to do with it. It's the design of LEDs themselves. Halogen and HID bulbs throws light much further. Good news is while Halogen and HID technology innovation has slowed, LED technology is continuing to improving rapidly.

    This is from lighting faq ... A very good read with info you might want to catch up on about the kelvin scale and lighting.... Higher kelvin is not brighter

    And as far as as throwing the light higher kelvin creates glare and when your light isnt focused properly(i.e) glare it will not give the "perception" of traveling very far .. To each his own but i know what i want and if i cant get it i wont buy the lights. I know the guy with the crazy litup magnetic grey taco bought lights from rigid. They are ridiculously expensive but throw out alot more light and a whiter light...i was just asking if the owner of OKLEDLIGHTBARS had a higher quality alternative to the expensive rigid lights because i know his rep to be good from several friends that bought from him and what ive read on lighting here and other threads.

    That information is great but now it just leaves me with more questions about HIDs. The Light Conversions by ambiguous seem pretty legit with the black headlight mod.
