I have a 2017 DCLB with a Leer cap and one windoor (same year). The windoor handles rusted where they attach to the glass and now one of the handles will not allow for a key to be inserted to unlock. I just noticed this problem a few weeks ago on a camping trip when I tried to use the windoor. I contacted Leer and they said it is out of warranty and would not allow for further discussion. If I get the handles replaced at my expense, how do I keep them from rusting again? Anyone else have this problem?

Can you remove the handles? If so, I’d take them and get them powder coated if you can get the locks out. I spray all my locks with WD40 that are exposed and they don’t rust. Not yet anyway.
