The off-road shop that I go to have stuff put on my truck. Wants to use the the rough country level kit. New struts and blocks in the back. Now what is nice about this place is I can bring whatever I want in and they will install it.

I've been looking at the AAL for the rear and figured this is a better route to go. Just not sure for the front and what shocks to run in the rear. I'm on a budget so nothing crazy.

    Thanks in advance

I went with Supreme but, mine is an asphalt princess. many will chime in, that if you are off roading, you may want a "true lift" and not spacers. I went with 2" front (1" spacer), and 1" rear block kit. it made the truck almost perfectly level EMPTY. If I had to do it again, I would opt for the 1.5" rear tapered block option.

in reality you dont need to replace rear shocks with a level up, unless you are looking for a "different ride characteristic". those that say spacers ride rougher... how can they, if you do not add any preload to the spring/springs, and you are using the same shock/strut? dont forget to have the truck aligned afterward. your results may vary. Depends on what you use your truck for...a cheap/ spacer type lift may work for you..but in seriously off roading? ..sure it can handle some what....but a proper full lift would perform better..and be safer..

Best to read as many articles about cheaper lift kits ..pros and cons.. they are many of these cheaper lift kits out there..and there are some really good quality ones too...read everything ..google , YouTube, etc..

My friend did that..using the cheaper lift kits...only to find ..it was not great for off roading...took them out for a proper full lift kit...

Best to save up for one..(drink less beer, eat at home)...no candies too...
    Aloha

I just ordered the Rough Country 2" strut leveling kit with new Rough Country 0-2" shocks for the rear. Cant wait to see how it turns out.
