Leveling Kit

I apologize if this has already been covered.

I have a 2007 Taco with a Toyota leveling kit. I believe it is 2.75" on the front and 1" on the back???

I was wondering what the largest size tire I can run on my truck with that leveling kit is? I hate the space that I have in the fenders now.

Also with a larger size tire does it throw the speedometer off so drastically that one should get it calibrated for those new tires?

If I could get some help I would really appreciate it, thanks.

 

I don't mind having to trim, I really would just like a larger tire on my truck. Does that mean I need to go with a larger lift then the leveling kit?

 

The largest tire size you can run with trimming is 285/75/R16

But you will also need new wheels with a 4.5 BS or if running OEM wheels they will require wheel spacers to clear the UCA.

Ok sweet!! I was planning on going with new wheels too so thank you both very much that's what I needed to know.

I have one other question though. With those larger tires is the change in the speedometer so drastic that one should get it calibrated for those tires?

 

I have the same leveling kit on my 07 right now. I went from the stock 265/70-16 to toyo mt 265/75-16. No rubbing on the UCA but on the Lower I DID. No one has ever stated this.
