I have a 2nd gen but I have a motofab 2 inch leveling kit. The same kit I have would be the same one you would use on your 3rd gen if you bought one. Really improved the looks! Plus pretty easy install.

Is that the one off eBay? I think I was looking at that and reviews look good.

If your looking for just looks and not really a lot of offroading, say yourself some cash before a big lift and get this one easy install and don't have to buy a 100 dollar leveling kit thats the exact same.

IMG_1444.jpg Bilstein 5100's for the front only. Set them at 1.5" and only cost me $200. I'm running a 275/65/18 tire. No rubbing and didn't have to trim at all.

Looked at this option also but where did u order those shocks? Where I looked it didn't have the option for 2017 models.

Do they not hold up for offroading? Go fishing and hunting so I like to use my vehicles in the mountains.

Im no expert from but from what i know a leveling kit does stiffen up your ride and makes it a lot easier to snap shocks, but if you aren't crawling and trying to hit jumps and actually like offroad hard your good. I go hunting myself and fair just fine.

If you can afford $200 definitely go with the 5100's. They ride amazing and a lot more reliable than a leveling spacer. Plus spacers are usually $50-$100 so why not spend just a little more change and get something built to last. I think it actually rides better than when it was stock

Spacer <shock <shock w/spring <adjustable coilover<custom madness (dual shock long travel etc). More or less. Budget and use being biggest differences. And then theres brackets. Dont do that. Or do it in private. Rear if you choose to do also would be like block <add a leaf <spring packs <get crazy.

But this topic has been beat to death due to so many options made for different uses. Or you can just do a 45 dollar ebay spacer n call it a day. Your truck, i dont have to drive it

IMG_0223.jpg IMG_0229.jpgI didn't do that great a job as a photographer, but here's before and after with a two inch level. I see a lot more hood, but got used to it quickly. If anything I like the ride a little better, but I'm not sure it really made a difference.
