Hello all new here and got a question. I want to lift my taco and I'm looking at the bilstein 5100s, not going crazy just a leveling lift or ever so slightly higher I just want to know what any of you have done and if the bilsteins are a good mod and how do they affect the ride, I really love the way this truck handles and rides so I really don't want mess that up. Also how would these shocks affect the ball joints, do they stretch them to far? Thanks in advance to all who gives me some much needed direction.

    Welcome

Tons and tons of people on here have the 5100's and most like them a lot. The search bar in the upper right hand corner is your friend - there are loads of threads on the 5100's on here with advice, info, pictures, experiences, etc.

The 5100's shouldn't do any damage to your ball joints as well

    Welcome!

5100 ride great on and off road. If you wanted a 2.5" lift, add toytech springs and a 3 leaf pack.

Thanks for the info was really worried about the ball joints, but it sounds like these 5100s are kickass.
