Did you do any trimming with the tires and what kind of lift did you put on?

Just some minor trimming of the plastic on the inner front fender well, and a toytec ultimate lift kit.

 

Thats the plan, got a rear bumper ordered, hoping to get a front bumper ordered real soon, then a locker hopefully by the end of the year.

Made up a hitch shackle, made it for a 3/4 shackle, used solid 2" the whole way. Now I can stop using my hitch step to pull people out

It came out decent for a first try.

Nah, just wanted to make my own. Might make a few more, different styles, not sure when tho.

 

Gotcha, I bet it's nice having the skills to make things like this. Makes it a whole lot cheaper than buying a $60 Warn hitch shackle.

 

Yeah, being able to see something and have the skills to make it is useful. Most of the time I am to lazy tho and end up buying it, haha.

 

Went to rausch creek today, used up almost 3/4 of a tank, and explored the new property. Was about 3-5" of snow on the ground, made most of the blue's into greens, and some greens into blues, haha. Got quite a few new trail scratches on the truck, the sliders proved themselfs numerous times today . Didnt really get any good trail photos, mainly just messing around shots, I will try to get the gopro vids edited sometime.
