load range b tires

    looking at buying some tires and came across some load range b mickey thompsons... about $150 each for 265/75/16. I really don't haul anything but don't want to get a tire that cannot perform... would this tire hold up? I may do serious offroading like twice a year so that isn't really a factor. Thanks!

    Hmm I have never heard of b load tires, well then again I don't know much about tires haha.

    Lol. I guess I don't either. I have c range right now and haven't had issues but I don't know what the difference is

    Is load B not a 4ply tire? A 4 ply tire is what comes stock on the Tacoma and from my understanding they are more than capable of handling what the truck is capable of carrying. There has been much discussion of this on TW. If you search around you will find it.

    it does say its a 4 ply tire... i wasnt aware it was the same as the factory tire... that makes it a lot easier to justify the purchase though.
