24 OR owner here. New to all of this and looking for some advice on where to start.

Looking to lift 2.5”, upgrade tires, and wheels.

Looking for recommendations on where to buy, good brands, and general advice on how to go about this process. Willing to spend within reason.

"Within reason" is a wildly variable term on this site, as far as suggested $ amounts.

spend some time reading up on the sub forum topics. You will learn a lot by reading and what tailors to your needs.

Kings with the matching blue UCA. It will probably be a while before any Pro or Trailhunter takeoff parts show up. With the amount of rake on these new trucks the 1-1.5" spacer lift on the front looks good.

I went with the Westcott designs lift and 285/75/17 Nitto Recon Grapplers. I'm very happy with my decision! Rides slightly stiffer than stock

You can go with Wescott Designs for a budget lift. If your wallet doesn’t mind Kings or Icons are the only thing available right now. I’m waiting for Fox to release their new products for this gen

I have Goodyear Wrangler RT's. My Westcott Designs lift just shipped after 2 months backorder. I'm going to keep the Westcott until my tires wear out and then hopefully the TRD Lift will be out or something from Fox and I'll move up to 35s. I will say that mine are 10-Ply and they are a bit heavy. I work for Goodyear so got my first set free as a swap for my BFGs and that's all that was available. I love the tires and hopefully I can get them in standard load and not E.

Not sure why everyone recommends Westport. Peak suspension is same thing and faster shipping. I order last week and got them already. Just need some time to install

Also if you’re in Seattle, don’t go to Le’s Schwab. Go to discount tire.

Eibach has, or almost has affordable lifts for the 4th gen. They include shocks and springs, not spacers and preload collars. I would wait for something like that. Other brands of affordable shocks and springs are coming as well.

What’s the difference between your recommendations and something like Westcott precollar?

The precollar is like a spacer lift but a little higher quality since it’s Wescott. Kings/Icons/Fox are top shelf suspension options. Those big 3 plus a few unnamed options use coilovers and overall are miles ahead of the precollar or any spacer lift. The coilovers have adjustability so whether you’re hitting washboard roads or the trails you suspension will handle it very well. If it was me I’d save the money and save for coilovers but if you want to pick up the Wescott precollar it’s a good deal. You can run bigger tires and all that with both.

Thanks. Does Toyota typically release an option for lifting? I’m assuming anything besides OEM will void warranty.

I think there is a TRD lift coming out really soon actually. I’m not 100 percent sure on the warranty but I believe they have to prove that your suspension caused whatever failed.

Has anyone ordered the wascott kit lately? They mention delayed lead times on there site but no explanation on how.long that could be.
