    Most counties and towns have seasonal use roads; prety much dirt roads that don't get plowed and maybe one pass witha grader in the Spring.

    Check town hall for a road map, fee in most towns. Or buy a county only map (the seasonal / dirt / unimporved roads are generally shown differently than the regular roads.

    I am near Albany, Some roads in Southern Albany County that fit the bill.

    about 45min south of albany the power lines are one of my fav. not exactly legal but ive wheeled them all my life...some areas are pretty extreme too
