I'll be glad when they go away here, too. We've yet to get cool enough to get rid of them. My poor Taco looks like it has freckles!! :(

I need a way to remove them AND protect the truck so the next time I drive through a cloud of creepy copulators, I can wipe them away more easily. I also need something to keep them from getting sucked into the radiator... a bra, maybe?

Some neighbor says he sprays his front area with PAM... or someother non-stick pan spray.... I saw it with my own eyes, they flick right off!

I just couldn't put PAM on my bumper...... :)

Yeah, a guy here told me that, too, and I'm the same - I just don't know that I wanna spray that on there, lol.

It doesn't damage the finish or anything? I just am scared to do something like that and end up causing more problems in the long run, which is why I haven't tried a bra, either, since I've seen them beat the crap out of a paint job.

I use iot on the undercarage, not any painted body work. Works good for mud, but I have no input on if it harms paint. :(

The best lovebug deterrant is a clear bra coated with Pam. The Pam will not harm the paint or the clear bra. We used to keep the front of our vehicles coated in May-June and Sept-October in Florida. The Lovebugs will coat everything they come in contact with. The Pam just rinses off. it works. But the best long term protection for your front end is a clear bra. It not only keeps the bugs off the paint, it prevents stone damage as well. The clear bra is a little pricy but much cheaper than a paint job.
