LSD - Helical or Clutch

    I will like to know your experience with those two types of LSD. Pros and negative and which one you prefer. Im inclined to the helical (not need to worry about the clutch wear), but I guess the lsd with clutch is cheaper.

    Oh and BTW, no $$$ for air compressed or electrical diff.;)

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    I personally prefer a helical LS diff, but the only one I know of is the Eaton unit. I know there are a couple Japanese ones, but Im not sure if they have one for the Tacoma.

    I think I paid about 400. I've had it for about 3 years now. I don't feel any impact or hear any noises when it engages.

    The only thing I notice is when driving on snow from a dead stop I get a little rear end side step then off I go. It's really a great unit.
