Question? I seem to be getting answers from all over the board on this one. I have a 2011 Tacoma Sport TRD 4X4 and I want to know what the correct foot lbs are for tightening the lug nuts?

I've got answers from 85 ft lbs all the way up to 150lbs and I have aluminum wheels so I know I don't want them TOO tight but definitely not too loose either?

    Thx

Too bad the techs at toyota don't follow their own guidelines. Every time our trucks come back from service, the lugs are crazy tight.

They're probably using an impact gun with no torque stick. You should say something.. overtorqueing ruins the wheels, the nuts and the studs. And it doesn't help when you're trying to change a flat with the tiny little bar that comes with the jack!
