Well, I came home with my new-to-me 2013 TRD Sport on Sunday, (traded in for my 2008 four banger, she served me well). I plan on doing some mods/upgrades so here's the obligatory build thread. I don't do much (any) off-roading, so my build is going to be focusing on utility and convenience, and some stuff for looks. One day I'll get a 4x4 and dive into the mud, but this is not that truck. My budget is going to pretty slim here for a while since I've got a wedding to pay for.

I'm a PC gamer, and I've always thought it'd be cool to have a Mass-Effect themed truck. So I'm calling my taco the SPECTRE edition. It's MGM as you can see below, and I'll be doing some tasteful, subtle red accents which I hope will look pretty slick.

Here's the Spectre logo from the game that I'll incorporate somehow:

Here's the day after I brought it home:

Here's what I've got planned so far:

    G-Tek Door Sill Protectors
    Matte-black badges
    bed-lights
    engine-bay lights
button-panel in overhead for extra lights/electronics
    LED replace map, license plate
    seat covers
    mag-light driver's-seat bracket
    mall-armor (a must in Orlando...)
grill replace, with SPECTRE logo incorporated somehow
wheel replace (or maybe I'll powder-coat the existing ones, not sure)

If any of you guys and girls have other ideas I'd be glad to hear them. I didn't do much modding on my previous taco besides a double-din stereo replace (thank god I don't have to do that again), so I'm excited to do some research and try some new stuff.

    Thanks for the look.
