Welp, warranty is up and tires were worn out, so i guess it's the beginning of the end.

Here's a picture from day 1 when I first bought it:

    an important early milestone:

the day I bought my boat in Bluff, UT and drove back up to goblin valley to camp on my way home:

another camping shot, using the shell as a tether for the hammock:

Next post will talk about the "build" so far

so, after the stock tires wore out, i bought some ProComp/wheelers steelies, and put a set of 265/75/16 tires on. long story short: they rubbed in the front, and since the rear leafs bottomed out like crazy when I had anything in the back at all, i figured it was time to lift it.

Personally, I like the look of a stock-height truck better, but after I did the rear leaf, it was insanely raked. since I have progressive TRD OR springs, I did 5100s at .85, still keeps pretty much stock rake while lifting it about 1.5" so not too bad, if a little higher than I like it.

I also used a write up for a bed platform from this site and modified it a little bit to better suit my needs

also, I put in heated seats last week. since I was already dicking around with wiring, i decided to do the "fog lights anytime" mod. I really missed having that from previous cars in a few storms this winter.

starting to really feel like it's "my" truck after almost 3 years of ownership!

next up: probably rock sliders. maybe
