    What were they smoking when they decided to put the zerks where they are...:rasta:
    I had to remove the bracket supporting the brake line and abs wire to get my grease gun on to fill it.
    These pics were taken from the front side:IMG_20190309_124318.jpg IMG_20190309_123827.jpg IMG_20190309_123840.jpg

    I need to buy a different end for the grease gun. One that slides over the zerk.

    It's not necessary to remove anything. I have the same MOOG end links on my 2005 dbcb Prerunner 4.0L. Also got MOOG inner and outer tire rods(greasable), upper and lower control arms, left and right(non greasable). All I have to do is turn the front wheels all the way to the left to access the driver side zerk from the front. Then turn the front wheels all the way to the right and easily access the other driver side zerk from the rear, then access the 2 zerks on the passenger side from the front.

    I have the same Moog links and I agree about the dumb design. I don't like the very odd wrench and socket sizes needed to install them either. I can still access the zerk pictured above by reaching in from the front between the shock and the link to attach the grease gun hose.

    @littlepeedee I usually grease everything during an oil change while it's draining. I really don't want to be climbing underneath more than once. I'll just buy the grease nozzle that slides on the zerk from the side.

    @yeos thankfully i have 2 18mm wrenches.

    There's a flat spot on the knuckle above where the link connects. It's perfectly located to act as a brace for the wrench between the boot and sway bar when taking the nut off

    I was just researching that myself , removing it. With my Jeeps we had aftermarket sway bars that were adjustable and were much softer than the OE to the point the Jeep would work better off-road with the Currie aftermarket bar on than none at all. I'm surprised no one has come up with it for Tacomas.
