    Just stumbled across your build thread. Nice truck man! Simple & clean. No fender flares actually look good (plus you don't have to live & deal with Toyota's factory paint fender flare F-up ;)...see TSB BO003-05).

    Looks like you're wanting to go more paint matched on certain parts, but FWIW, I think the unpainted bare textured plastic works for your style of truck. Like we touched on in another thread earlier this week, the chrome grill is about the only thing I'd ditch.

    Also, it appeared in one of the pics you paint matched the door and tailgate handles. Did you paint the originals or buy the painted ones from Toyota? I know they offer them for the doors, which I think I'm about to pull the trigger on for my truck, but never seen anything offered for the tailgate.

    I painted the tailgate handle myself and the door handles. But I’m fixing to swap the door handles with some I have ordered from the local dealer ship. 89$ for matching door handles. Not bad. Probably will leave the bumpers black to

    Does your local dealer give you any kind of discount? You may already know this, but ordering through parts.toyota.com has proven to be the easiest/cheapest way to buy OEM parts locally for me (I just pick the parts up myself and avoid shipping charges).

    Recent updates.

    New falken wildpeak at3w tires
    And some small stuff like painted door handles and a shorty antenna. Replaced the center console latch and just changed the oil. 56000 miles currently.
