This is my first time posting here and, frankly, I'm an analog man in a digital world. My computer skills are virtually non existent. I've never owned nor used one in my 60+ years except two feeble attempts. My apologies in advance for any and all errant posts. I'm a very grateful owner of a 2006 crew TRD w/ short bed. It has 188xxx miles most of which logged by the original owner. I recently learned that his wife accidentally drove it around town for a few days, maybe 50 miles with the posi traction engaged. This is a source of concern and I am seeking any advice on how to proceed with minimizing damage. Thx

I can't answer your concerns on what the PO did. However, it may be good to start with a fluid change (mileage and unknown PO use). With a LSD, make sure you use the correct oil/additive. Hopefully some of the other, more knowledgable, members will chime in.

Hello and welcome. Because of the title of your post people are going to assume you're saying hello and introducing yourself to the forum. Since you've got a specific question my advice would be to either retitle your post or create a new one with a proper title so members will input toward your question/answer.
