    Hey everyone,

I just got my first Tacoma and I was wondering what upgrades everyone thought would be good things to do first. It is a Gen 2 2011 manual regular cab. I was first planning on getting a cap so that I can have some more secure storage since it's only the regular cab. Along with that, I was going to get a new head unit that has Bluetooth capabilities. I mainly want the truck to be good for daily use with a little bit of offroading capability for general camping. I know that this model isn't the beefiest model out there but I am really excited for it. Let me know if there are any other upgrades for quality of life and whatnot.

    Thank you very much!

    Welcome.

I had a 2005 regular cab 5 lug base model for years and many many miles. If you have a bench seat you should look into upgrading the seats. Terrible seat, it really hurt my back.

Head unit is another good thing to do to get more comfortable and get phone and Bluetooth music.
