Im having a serious delimna right now..ive been searching and searching and i can not decide on a new tire...ive heard so many good things about Goodyear Duractracts, but i cant help but notice everything else....i need help from the experts! My truck now is a Daily driver/ weekend wheeler and i need something thats going to tread well and has a decent life (50k at least) yet also has a strong sidewall for crawling over rocks, performs great in the mud, can take on snow, ice with ease....its been a difficult struggle on deciding
Show me your favorite and how they hold up against evrything you can throw at them!!

I love coopers, I have the AT3s and my buddy has the ST MAXX great tires, AT3 for street and off road, the Maxx is for off road and street....

For rocks I would get the maxx......

I think either of these tires are tougher than the duratrac. The duratrac is a great AT winter tire but have weaker side walls.... They are lighter so you get better MPG but don't seam that tough and lower handling... Great for snow and ice...

The AT3 is one of the best hwy and off road tires have great handling and towing but have less flex than off road tires/ stiffer sidewalls.... I went to 275 70 17 and lost 2 mpg but I can go through anything.... I have 10,000 mile and no noticeable wear... these are better overall and seam more durable...

The maxx is a step up with Kevlar and much more flex great off road but slightly less handling.... my buddy has 295 70 18 on his tundra with 16,000 miles and starting to show wear on the edges..... Hands down much better for rocks.... most likely my next tire....

I have the duratracs and absolutely love them. They are quiet on the road but are pretty aggressive offroad. Once you get lower on tread they have seemed to have gotten louder, but not by much. Everyone says the sidewalls are really weak but I haven't had any issues yet.
