Navigation app needed

Hey, new member, never joined a forum before.
Just picked up my 2021 Army Green Tacoma TRD Sport ....loving it ...need help in setting up navigation app. ....I don’t think the salesman fully understands how it works...was told before purchase the stereo if fully capable of having navigation, just need to ad upgrade after purchase for $180 and will be able to navigate without use of maps on IPhone...
After picking up truck he found out he was wrong, that was old scout system......well my stereo has “map” button and says the app needs to be downloaded....anyone know anything about this??

A SD card was needed on previous years. More information is in your owners manual.
You can buy the SD cards on Amazon and eBay for less $$$
