I bought a pelican pm6 led for use on the job and it is great. Cheaper than surefire but every bit as good. The CR123 batteries are a little more expensive but they have a 10 year shelf life so if you throw it in your truck and don't use it for 6 months the batteries will still be good and if you use it daily the batteries last a long time for such a bright light. I like my pelican light enough I bought a spare to take to Iraq with me just in case I broke it. After a year of daily use on blackhawk helicopters I never did have to get out my spare. They are great lights.

Streamlight Stinger LED. I got one in my truck that's always ready to go. I also got 2 at home (incan) and 2 at work (led). They make some really nice quality flashlights.
