Im trying to install a device for connecting my phone to my 08 Tacoma and it requires a power supply and I can't figure out what to use, anyone have any ideas for splicing into power behind the radio or somewhere easily accessible.

Depends on how much power you need, I would just splice the red wire that goes into back of head unit. This provides power for aftermarket head units with built in phone connections.

Do you have a mutlimeter or a wiggy? That will be the easiest way to tell whats hot, I think you can pick one up at a hardware or electronics store for like $15. It will be good to have for future mods too for sure!
