I'm going to put some nerf bars on my truck for the little Mrs.... I've been looking at the black bars that NASTA makes. AutoAnything sells them for $219 with free shipping. It seems like a good deal but I would like to know if anybody has had any experience with them and possibley any pics.

do you what gauge steel they are? don't skimp on bars. you probably already know they'll start sagging over time if they're cheaply made or thin gauge steel.

Here are the specs that are on the manufactures website.

    BLACK POWDER COATED STEP BARS
Made of 3" x 0.069 wall thickness Carbon Steel Tube
Carbon Steel plate brackets - Powder Coated
Zinc Plated Bolts, Nuts, and Washers
    High Gloss Black Finish
Available for full size Trucks and SUV's
    No drilling required
High Quality Bending, Welding, and Powder Coating

I believe that 0.065 wall thickness is 16 gauge.... which is what I have found most step bars to be constructed of from the specs on manufactures web sites.
