    Howdy!

Thought I'd take a second and post, as I'm definitely new here and to Tacomas in general. I recently picked up a black 2012 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4, with the XSP-X package. No pics yet, as I'm still learning the ins and outs of Tacoma World forums.

I previously had a 2002 4Runner SR5. The opportunity to obtain my new ride was just too good to pass up. I'm really enjoying the Tacoma, though the XSP-X package seems to draw a great deal of ire from the reading I've been doing.

I look forward to learning and getting to know everybody!

    Cheers!

    Thanks y'all!

I live in West Columbia and have been in the Midlands for 13 years now. I moved to SC in 1987 from up north. "Northern by birth, Southern by choice" kinda sums it up nicely. :)

I can't wait for college football season! I graduated from Appalachian State University and also follow the Carolina Gamecocks. Tailgate season is my favorite time of year.

Hope to talk to y'all more soon! I appreciate the warm welcome.

    Cheers!

Great to see this place is so active! And some local folks chiming in too! Very cool indeed.

A college friend had an old school Toyota 4x4 that he'd done lots of work to, and a local buddy of mine had an 07 Tacoma Double Cab PreRunner a while back. Guess I've been into Toyota trucks longer than I thought.

I've seen some real nice builds around the Columbia/Lexington area recently. It's cool to see how people personalize their rigs. Only things I've done to my XSP-X is to strip off the side decals I couldn't stand and slap some stickers on my back glass.

Now, to find a good amplifier to fix the apparent lack of volume coming from my stereo.....

    Cheers!

LOL! Thank you, sir! I'm an App State Mountaineer first, but I'm sort of an "adopted Gamecock fan" with what I do for a living and having been here for as long as I have.

It looks like it's going to be a great season for both the Gamecocks and Clemson, if reports are to be believed. Just 9 days until kickoff, and Thursdays are a fine night to go enjoy a pint or two of beer with one's friends.:)

It really is nice to see a forum with local posters!

    Cheers!
