GERM- Welcome aboard. I am new myself and have a truck almost identical to yours on order - should be here this week or next. It's a silver streak TRD OR, DC no-nav.

I passed on the boards, thinking if I wanted them I could get a better selection/cheaper aftermarket.

I added the factory horn alarm and the 3M clear bra - no other options.

You got and advice? Any pleasant or unpleasant suprises?

Thanks for the welcome guys! Brentmeister - I've got the same mindset as you regarding the boards. Got a deal on the truck that was too good to pass up so I had to look past the boards. As far as surprises, coming from an '00 Dakota 2wd completely stock, everything is a pleasant surprise! Took her out today and was all smiles hitting some light/medium trails that would have surely been the death of the Dodge. Since I'm a noob myself I don't have much advice other than lurk on here!
