Hi all, been creeping around reading and taking it all in. I currently have a powerstroke f250 fx4 and love it. That being said I will be gathering information on the 2016+ tacos and looking too see if this truck is right for me. I have noticed a plethora of knowledge on this forum and honest reviews, that's why I chose this community!

Well where do I start? Guess with welcome and don't get rid of your f250 for a gen3 Tacoma just yet. I own a 2013 f250 lariat fx4 and love it. I would wait until they fix some of the bugs first. The main problem is over shifting which causes your mpg to suffer. I get better mpg from my f250. And no fix thus far for the problem..

Thanks guys for the welcome! I've been reading about the trans on this site, erratic shifts, and early shifting, that doesn't bother me too much as I'll be opting for rowing my gears. Lol
I have no plans too give up my truck yet, it has SCT custom tunes, exhaust, intake, and the egr was stolen by someone It will get about 17-18 depending on how I drive on the hwy, 12 in town. My big concern is power, coming from a ton too a little. Size doesn't matter (that's what she said) as we only have 1 child. Towing not a problem 2-3 dirt bikes our Honda Civic could do that.
I really like the 17 TRD Pro, but prob can't justify spending 40k on a small truck, that's full size price. I just hope to spend more time here listening too people who have the current Taco and evaluating from there.
