    I have a 2017 that is basic. Rearview mirror has nothing. I want to add one that has the compass. Is that possible?

    You’ll need to remove your overhead console and see if the wiring is already in place for the compass mirror. It was on mine, but I don’t know if the 3rd gens are still pre wired or not

    For the Generation 2 there is a connector in the headliner behind the console. If all you want is compass, then it could be
    a simple removal of console and plug it in. Check with Bob.
