    VHF/UHF radio
Well figured I should introduce myself. I have a 2011 Tacoma Double cab short bed with the 6 speed manual transmission and their TRX Pro package. Only modification I have done so far is the install of a VHF/UHF dual band radio used primarily for Search and Rescue. The radio itself is mounted under the Drivers seat. The radio is direct wired to the battery for power (with an inline fuse located 4" from the battery terminal.). The power line is controlled by a relay which is powered by an add a fuse tied into the backup light fuse which is disabled by the ignition so there isn't a chance of the radio being left on killing the battery. It works well so and finally made me accept its ok to modify my truck.
