I have had a 2013 TRD Sport for only a few weeks but im killing to start the upgrades.Im only 15, turning 16 in august so im very fortunate for the car i have. I have been saving my money to do some upgrades and this is what im thinking. I want to lift it either 3" or 6" but i dont know which. I want to put 20/9 fuel mavericks on with 33's but i dont know what the offset should be? I also want to get a pair of headlights with white housing a nice led DRL. Then i will do little things like blacked out emblem's and maybe a new grill. Open to any suggestions you guys have! Thanks.

Three inches will cause you less problems in my opinion. Congrats on the truck, pretty nice first vehicle.

Best suggestion I can give you is to turn right the fuck back around and hit the road while you can still afford a house, clothes and food.

    Welcome BTW

Go with 3, 6 in is to much in my opinion. I've only got 2 in of lift and i've got plenty of clearance and could fit 285's at least. (285 = 32.8')
6 inches will turn heads everywhere you go, but so will a properly done 3 in lift (and for the right reasons)
Wait till you see how much its going to cost for adjustable coilovers, most packages are $1000+. And that is just for the front.
For 2-3 inches of lift you'll also need new upper control arms so you can get a proper alignment. $450-$700
In the back, go with Dakar leaf springs. I'm planning on getting a set sometime this summer. $450 roughly

I'm not trying to deter you, If you've got the $$ go for it. I am saving up right now to eventually replace my suspension sometime in the next year.
Starting wit the dakars this summer since the stock leafs are pretty tired looking and there is an active recall on them..

Check out the 2nd gen mod thread, there are lots of other things you can do to customize your truck besides lifting it.
For example, you could pick up some plug-and-play 6x9 speakers for your front doors and improve your sound system noticeably for under $100.

Enjoy you new truck man, and welcome to TW!

Don't do anything for six months. Ride it like you stole it,.. go offloading, have fun and see what you really need,.. then start upgrading.
