    I've been a long time Toyota owner...Corollas, Siennas, Rav4s, and have just bought my first Tacoma. 2018 TRD Sport.
    I wanted to get a Tonneau cover for the cargo bed (73.5") and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.
    I was looking for weatherproof, lockable, and hard cover tri-fold.
    Looking for peoples experience with theirs in terms of how well they keep out the weather as well as ease of installation.
    Was also looking for suggestions on step bars. Have the double cab and wanted a "tube" type step bar along the side. Have seen them in various sizes, 3" 4", 5" and even 6"....again, just looking for suggestions, thoughts, and experiences.

    Welcome to TW J. Whats your budget? Do you plan on off roading? What is the intended use of the step and cover. That will help people narrow things down as there are a ton of options for the Taco.

    *id also recommend editing your original post and add that info to it.

    You will also be ribbed about using the search function but it will mostly be in good fun and humor.

    Also 'help' in a title is reserved for someone with an immediate problem, like stranded, needing real help. Just a future point of reference.

    And the new member forum is for introductions, pics etc., not really for asking questions. There are forums by year model groups (generations) and even more specific forums for things like wheels and tires to get those questions going.

    Thanks for all the "welcomes"!
    Also want to thank Clearwater Bill for the info....not only am I a new owner but I'm also not very technologically inclined when it comes to these kinds of forums...so thank you for laying down some good ground rules for me to follow.
    To Dornbox, no off-roading, the step runner will be used for getting in and out of the passenger side, and the cover (preferably hard) will be used to keep weather off of tools and hockey equipment in transit.
    Thanks again to all and I'll definitely do better next time when it comes to getting into the right place to "search" for answers and ask these questions.
