New shocks help

I have the rough country 3 inch lift and it rides well to my surprise however my truck is an 09 and has the original bilstein shocks on and I would like to upgrade without breaking my wallet what are some good smooth riding shocks for the taco? I may end up changing the rear rough country out as well but they need to be able to accomate a 3 inch lift!

 

Just to clarify, your truck currently has a 3" rough country lift correct? You need new... rear shocks? Front coilovers?

 

I should have been more specific it was the coil spacer "I know not the best" all I need is new rear shocks and the front shock itself not the coilover

 

Oooh ok gotcha. You're all good I just wanted to make sure I understood what you were wanting.

Honestly man if you're going to change out the front shocks, you might as well just replace the whole coilover. They're really not that expensive and it'll make installation a lot easier.

Whats your max budget for the whole thing?

 

I wouldn't want to spend over 200ish for the 2 but would go a little higher

You can do just the rears for 165.

Don't those only adjust to 2.75 inches?

 

2.5" my friend. But an Old Man Emu coil spring can make that all better, and ride nicer!
