I have a 2012 TRD Off-Road. I just replaced my wheels and put 265 70 R17 BFG All-Terrain K2. I removed the front and rear mud flaps however, when I make a sharp left turn, the tires will still rub on the wheel weld just a little.

I know I will have to lift it 2-3 three inches in order for the circumference of the tires to clear. Which size, brand spacers , suspensions or shocks do you recommend?

This is my everyday vehicle and its garaged 90% of the time. I plan at leaving as original as possible.

Depending on how much you want to spend, I'm pretty happy with my setup - 1.6" Eibach coils and bilstein 5100. Bout $400. Or just get the 5100s and put it on the .85 setting. That will clear you and save some coin. I would prefer doing something along those lines over installing spacers. Just my .02

I was thinking the same thing. I was quoted by a shop and they could put pro com struts all the way around for $700 or just the front for $550. That would create around 2-3 inches of clearance. Or I could go the way cheaper route and just have my buddy install the spacers for free ($150) for parts.

I would recommend doing a lot of reading in the suspension forum.

Your post, being in the new members forum, won't get as much attention either. There are at least 5-10 people a week that ask some variant of your question. Sometimes 5-10 a day. Well, it seems like it.

    Anyway, welcome new member!

Thank you I appreciate it. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not interested in modifying my truck. I plan on keeping it for the next 10
    years.

    Too late.

I know, I needed some wheels and spent a few bucks. I'm not planning on modifying the engine or doing any fabricating of any kind. I may put a tri-fold tonneu cover next. of course $$$ is always is an issue. Kid's college applications, senior fees and trips are starting to take it's toll.
