Just bought my first Toyota, I got a 2022 Tacoma Limited. I sold my welding rig and a wore out 1991 Isuzu pickup with 433,000 miles on it. I found this from by searching about this ridiculous oil dipstick and the inconsistency in readings. Got a good tip to scuff up the end of the dipstick and it is much easier to read. Still how pathetic is this design, what happened to just popping the hood, pulling the stick and reading it. Now it’s wait several minutes, leave the stick out and let the tube drain, scuff the stick, geez. I hope this is not a sign of things to come. Oh well the truck is mine now.
Been a pipe welder for 45 years, now retired and do what ever I want anytime I want, lol.
