First post, to say hi to the community.

I work at Longo Toyota as an Internet Sales Manager.

I am here to learn about the new Tacoma's and stay up to date with the trucks, and modifications, issues, etc...

Ask an internet sales manager anything. =P

Can I ask why dealers, sales people, and managers know so little about the 2016 Tacoma? I, and many others, have had many dealership employees tell me/them complete lies about the trucks.

    It's got 300hp
Ita got the old 4.0 in it
It's got a 120k service life, buy this 2015 we have here on the lot....
    It's got 286hp
    They aren't making 4x4 anymore
They all come with color match bumpers
    Only short beds this year
    What's crawl control?
We have that model on the lot....

We all get trained on the Trucks at a corporate event for 3-4 hours.

The trainers also let us drive the competition, Nissan Frontier and Chevy Colorado.

Both are good trucks, some people like the Nissan/Chevy brand, etc...

In my opinion go with what you like, Nissan, Chevy, all are good trucks.

I can't speak for other sales guys/gals how much they learn or retain after the training.

Well, it IS a Toyota forum & I've been here since 2009 , a lot of input since then.

& that is just sad, shows no real belief in the product...

Agreed, my 2nd car was a 2005 corolla, drove it to 220K thru college and my first job etc....

I am a believer in the Toyota QDR.
