im no audiophile so I need some help identifying which sub(s) to properly pair with my amp. Plus I don't understand this "ohm" thing, it just confuses me more, so heres my questions ...........

I have an alpine MRX-M110 amp
    • Per channel into 4 Ohms: 650W RMS x 1
    • Per channel into 2 Ohms: 1100W RMS x 1

    first question ...
    1) can this amp power two 8" subs or is it just built for one sub?

assuming it can power two subs, which would sound better ...

powering two alpine SWR-8D4ohm 8" subs
    • Power Range: 150 W-350 W RMS
    • RMS Power Handling: 350 W RMS
    • Peak Power Handling: 1000 W PEAK

or powering two alpine SWR-8D2ohm 8" subs
    • Power Range: 150 W-350 W RMS
    • RMS Power Handling: 350 W RMS
    • Peak Power Handling: 1000 W PEAK

or one alpine SWR-10D4ohm 10" sub
    • Power Range: 250W - 1000 Watts
    • RMS Power Handling: 1000W
    • Peak Power Handling: 3000W

or one alpine SWR-10D2ohm 10" sub
    • Power Range: 250W - 1000 Watts
    • RMS Power Handling: 1000W
    • Peak Power Handling: 3000W

    appreciate the feedback guys!
