This is my 3rd tacoma. 2018 sr 2.7L
All 3 were 2.7L's
The 1st was 99, I worked it hard, sold it with 300000 running as good as when i 1st got it. 2nd 07 access 230000 strong motor it just ran HOT because of the PLASTIC WATER PIPE
I couldn't believe that one, and can hardly stand talking about it! But thank GOD, I was Blessed it didn't Kill it!
Now 2018 runs great, shifting is scary knowing this Can't be good for the trans just got ott tune, guy said give it 2 weeks. So I'm on 3 days.
