Newbie needing help

Hello Tacoma people,
I'm new to this forum but have owned my 1995 black toyota tacoma extra cab 4X4 for 3 years. She has 280,000 miles ans still running strong.
If anyone can help me with a door lock issue... my passenger side door will not open from the inside or outside handles. I can find a good used door lock assembly or how to fix her.. any suggestions

 

Welcome! If it does't open from either, I would remove the door panel and ensure that everything is properly connected.

As these gentlemen already mentioned you should get in there and do some hunting see what's going on. The mechanicals of these doors are pretty simple and straight forward. Here is a YouTube how-to for removing the door panel and replacing the handle. You can find the door handles on ebay used and new aftermarket also check out the classifieds for 1st Gen Tacomas here on TW for members doing a partout.
