newbie needs help

K & N Air filter, Bug deflector, Roll-up tonneau cover, CB

Hi all. I'm new to the forum having bought a 2008 Tacoma, SR5 double cab. It had 38000 when I got it and so at 40,000 I decided to change the plugs. Followed the excellent how to post and when I was done and restarted the engine, the maint reqd light came on. So I followed the book and changed oil and filter, light is still on. Is there a reset or what did I do??? Help
