    Hi Everyone,
    I'm new to the Forums. I love my 1997 Toyota Tacoma Truck and will not give it up! My husband gives my a hard time all the time about my truck but its just perfect for me when I need a truck.

    Our Mechanic keeps threatening to not pass it for inspection because of the rust on the frame. I did, however, have the undercoating put on it when I bought it and I just never followed through on getting it checked out when all the frame recalls were going on. Can anyone point me in the right direction in getting a dealership to fix the rust or what would the group suggest?

    Thank you in advance for any advice, tips or suggestions.

    I think you’re a little too late for any help with your frame from the dealership, most recalls were only good for 15 years out from factory build date. Toyota bought one of my trucks back from me, then took it to Dallas and crushed it.
