    Oh ya, right on. Out here in La Mesa. Grew up in the Jamul/Rancho SD area. Do you stay DT or in Point Loma? DT has definitely gotten rough. San Diego used to have big city with small city vibes. I miss it.

    I'll say Point Loma, we're on the other side of 5 usually. We stay in Old Town, those tacos man.... We ain't got those abuelitas up here in New England making fresh tortillas :rofl:

    I'm trying to convince my company that I need to go out there in January or February :) (TJ, but we fly into and stay in SD instead of int'l flights and stay in TJ)

    Haha ya, Old Town reminds me of my Hispanic grandmother. Her and my grandfather owned a farm in Colorado and made everything from scratch, every day. She would make fresh tortillas every morning and whenever I would come over a kid, she would have some fresh ones for me. I really miss that. Especially the sopapillas and Red pork pozole!

    Dude, "San Diego Mexican Food" is in its own realm. TJ Street tacos and Birria tacos are undefeated. Have you had a California Burrito yet?
