That's some BS and my nightmare... When ever I need actual service, I intentionally fiddle with my dashcam system in front of the worker. The conversation usually turns to them asking how many cameras I have (I have 5) lol. Works everytime and never had anything stolen.

You probably did already, but did you check in the depths of the seat crevice aka the "black hole"? I've had patches fall into there when it gets super hot out. The Velcro seems to loosen its grip when over heated.

I wish I could help you replace it ...

It’s crazy to think how often this happens and people don’t notice until much later. It’s really unfortunate there’s so many tool bags out there in the world! Time to find a new shop and spread the word locally! If they’ll steal a patch what else are they doing?
