Ok well even though UPS delayed a day, I had Cali Raised send me a bunch of pictures of the connectors and verified they are the right stuff. They are listed on my website for $8 as promised. This include USPS priority shipping! Get them while they are hot at this $8 price for the next week, Monday they are going up because I lose money at this price. Thank you everyone for buying these so far. It has been a great response. The day I launched the harness you guys sold me out of a bunch of stuff haha. All back orders will ship by Saturday morning, parts are almost done at the powder coater. Also have a big order of pods coming in tonight to fill a few other orders. At least I am moving forward. Gunna be a repairs and the local ABQ guys have all pointed me to a good shop. Still debating if I want to hassle with the repaired myself or not.

most people know,but when I soldered my harness I went red to red,black to black that's wrong..,Should be red to black and black to red. @MojaveMadman
So I get to resolder and practice my soldering skills

 

I need a little more info to answer. From my understanding it will work either way. If you look at the instructions, I believe positive is on the left of you look at the truck harness. I haven't done this part on my truck yet due to what is going on right now...

 

Hmmm well I tried red to red didn't work no light....switch them black to red and it works.. Maybe my harness got switched around.
If green is positive on truck harness this matches up to black on light harness....
black and white on truck matches up to red on light harness...

 

Ok great info! I'll look at the harnesses and see what is going on.

This is interesting. Was kinda pissed because I did my install on these yesterday and have my wiring all clean etc and installed per the instructions with the grounds and powers aligned etc. And have no light. Fuse is fine etc.

Guess I'll switch the wire around although that's confusing as shit and makes no sense imo. Otherwise the fab on the brackets looks excellent and fitment is great.

Just need to figure out what's up with the pod wiring because now I have to remove everything and rewire these.

 

I replied to your PM but this info does appear to be correct. Cali Raised and I are working with the company that manufactured the harness to get this resolved.

The day I received these was also the day my truck was stolen. So I didn't get to do the full install to make sure. I verified the connector was right, but that was all I could do at the time. I apologize for any issues this causes anyone!

The short answer so you can use them is to connect the black wire from the pigtail to the red wire on the LED and vise versa. This will allow everything to work as advertised. The other option if you have the ability is to re-pin the pigtail. This is not hard, but must be done before making a connection. Push the release in the pin, then the wires slide out. Then just reinstall them correctly.

The long term, I am probably going to re-pin all the harnesses I have on hand and we will obviously have the manufacturer of the pigtail fix anything else. This is growing pains of a new product and we are doing everything we can to make it right!

 

Mine wasn't quite as extreme I tested them before install just had to resolder and heat shrink wires.
