I'm right there with ya. I had a new muffler installed in 2015 and the damn thing is already rusting away at the seams. We don't even get much snow here anymore. Truck has driven through salted roads maybe 2-3 times in those 5 years.

To OP, you might consider adding a less restrictive air intake. Don't expect any performance gains but it will sound a bit louder at WOT, and will be unlikely to piss off any neighbors.

on the truck i supposedly fixed the issue of it ever occurring again on the catBack with an aircraft-grade stainless no corrosion warranty for 1 million miles
the catFront maybe another buggar to deal with in the future, as i got up close and personal in that general area this past week at the front cab mount cleaning/coating

No, anywhere OP lives, he will be considered an asshole. ANYWHERE except a highschool parking lot from the 80s. Kids don't even think that shits cool anymore cause they are all on the green kool-aid.

I’m stock. Really like it being quiet for a daily. But do miss my dual exhaust f150

    Tasteful modifications :)
Not sure what everyone else runs, but I run a dynomax ultra flo on my truck, expected it to be a little louder but it’s still not stock sound. When I get on it in 1st and second it’s a good sounding exhaust. No drone what so ever either

Mines 2.25 inches to match the glasspack. No reason to go huge with it. Guess im a piece of shit for having a loud truck but i drive it so idgaf. And i know no one would say the same in person so who cares haha

There are some godawful sounding super cheap raspy-as-shit, bargain-bin exhausts these days on all kinds of cars - nice new VWs and Cadllacs all the way down to Chad and his craptastic chevy crap-can Colbalt that make me want to shove a potato up a tailpipe.

Don't be those people. Not only does it turn normal people around you into homicidal maniacs wielding 7000 lb land barges that they can barely control without spilling their latte, it makes you noticeable enough to cops that they'll drop their jelly donut and chase you down because you're an easy target and they're bored.

The challenge here is making a v6 or l4 sound good. I giggle a little when I see one of the new mustangs with the turbo 4's - they sound enough like the tapped out 90s civics I grew up around that I expect there to be a VTEC sticker in the back window.

I feel like we are on the complete opposite end of the spectrum on what makes a nice sounding v-6. I also think that it doesn't fucking matter cause this is America and we can hate each other as much as we want as long as either of us doesn't try to stop the other from what they want to do in the end :oldglory::oldglory::oldglory::oldglory:
