On my way to work this morning my truck developed a problem. I felt a small hiccup and knew something was amiss. I stepped on the gas and the check enging light came on. It was running real rough and had no power. I limped to a nearby parking lot and hooked up my scanner. I got a PO301 code. Misfire detected cylinder 1. Made it back home. Changed out the plugs, distributor cap and rotor button. Made it a little better. Seems to run fine then starts missing.
Should I try to replace the wires or just take it to the mechanic?
