My ODB connector is pulled out I guess. Truck only has 500 miles on it. I looked under there but cannot tell where the wires would have been pulled from or where the other little connector would go.

Can someone share a picture of what it looks like hooked up correctly? I would like to put this back together.

    2024 Limited Hybrid

    Thanks,

That looks to be an added/intercept to the actual OBD (Data Link Connector 3). I say look further up the wires.

Could be a GPS tracker tie in to the OBDII...

Dang what kind of loan companies do that on new trucks? I’ve heard of this on used cars but not new

Ok, found the white OBD and was able to plug with Carista. The black one is a separate connector plugged into electronics behind the kick panel on the left side. Not sure what it is.

It’s not something from the loan company. Bought it same day off of the showroom floor with my own financing.

most stealerships will hack your wiring and add their gps/alarm and force you to pay $2,000 whether you want it or not

I think you need to ask the dealership what it is.

Remove bolts holding panel and pull straight back to remove the panel. Take a better look.

That looks like one of the "easy power tap" OBD adapters.
If you follow the wires, it will likely go to something that isn't hooked up.

This is it!! And @TRDaddio, my apologies you were correct. It’s a tracker that has a piggy back OBD but still allows you to plug on top of it and access the computer. It just pulls power for the tracking unit. When I plugged into the OBD last night and then unplugged, this adapter plug fell off and I thought it was the factory connector.

Thanks for the help guys. It is now disconnected!IMG_4641.jpg IMG_4640.jpg

If your OBD connector is black, Start looking.
    The factory one is white.
