Can I separate the black plastic part of my grille from the outer chrome shell? I found a Sport grille that has a damaged black center section and was thinking I could use mine to replace it? Sorry, I don't have access to my truck to look at it right now so trying to figure it out online. Thanks!

yes you can, melt the tabs, it will come off, then swap shells, then melt to reattach.
