I am wondering where the location of the outside temperature sensor is on an '06 Taco. Since it is summer and the vehicle sheet metal gets egg-cookin' hot, I do not see much of a difference when the vehicle has been sitting in the sun or driving with wind currents.

The owners manual is not helpful on this. Anyone know the answer??

Thank you Wolfpack. Your info was clear and complete. It makes good sense to put the sensor where the greatest airflow would be. Thanks again.
